mY aNIMATED sHORT fILM "Belleville"

An old whippet hound limps across a cemetary, a washer-woman with
a peacock head drags along piles of dirty laundry and a staunchly
religious sheep praying to Jesus suddenly starts praying to the
picture of a narcist. Belleville is about particularly strange people
meeting, within and especially outside of their specific contexts.

tHEATER pROJECTION

commission for the "Komödie am Kurfürstendamm" theater in Berlin.

For the play "Gut gegen Nordwind" from Rüdiger Hentzschel, theater "Komödie am Kurfürstendamm" in Berlin, I made an animated stage video projection. The plot is about two persons meeting each other by e-mail in the world wide web. Main actors are Oliver Mommsen and Tanja Wedhorn.

I did a placement in the Fresnoy (national studio of contemporary
art and cinematography), where I worked on images and 2D-animation of the short film "UnderConstruction" by Zhenchen Liu.

Synopsis:
Urban planners decide to demolish some parts of Shanghai's
old town in order to rebuild the city. Every year more
than one hundred thousand families are forced to leave
their homes and move into buildings on the edge of the city.

"Under construction" is a two– and three–dimensional flight
above the now destroyed living areas of Shanghai which shows
how random and brutal peoples' lives can be affected.
The film won more than 30 prizes on different film festivals
around the world.

for "Under Construction" - like posters and flyers ...

"Die Fete" - aRTGAME

"Die Fete" is an interactive artgame, where 2D Layers are placed into a 3D Environment. The game is played in a first–person perspective similar to modern egoshooter video

games. By passing through diverse rooms, the player is able to meet

with different people and to eavesdrop on their often strange party conversation.
